🌍 Portfolio Overview

From Mountains to Mangroves: Regeneration as a Living Tapestry

This portfolio is a living ecosystem of regenerative experiments across Iran and its borderlands—each rooted in its own bioregional context and shaped by ecological, cultural, and geopolitical realities.

We’ve curated seven case studies that engage energy, food, water, health, culture, and circular economies—stretching from highlands to coastal deltas, border cities to inland lakes. Each offers a glimpse into how communities can shift from extraction to regeneration—forming a constellation of possibility for others to learn, adapt, and contribute.

Rather than “scaling” in the conventional sense, we aim to seed and connect regenerative capacity, allowing strategies to evolve from the wisdom of place and people.

✨ Our design principle: Start from essence. Work with what’s already alive.
Honor traditional knowledge, and align with the future trying to emerge.

🧭 How We Work

We move with intention.
Each phase is designed to unlock local potential, deepen understanding, and nurture evolving capacity.
This is not a race. It’s a regenerative rhythm—aligned with place, people, and possibility.

🌀 Our Phased Approach

A regenerative arc—grounded in place, guided by people, and designed to evolve.

Phase 1: Bioregional Material Mapping & Innovation

Listening for what’s possible—not just diagnosing what’s wrong

  • Map plant species, agricultural byproducts, and fungal ecologies

  • Identify traditional uses of natural materials—insulation, medicine, textiles, filtration

  • Partner with farmers, artisans, and biotech labs to prototype regenerative materials

  • Explore algae systems for purification and bioenergy

  • Develop mycelium-based composites for construction and packaging

Phase 2: Cultural Restoration & Digital Storytelling

Honoring heritage while designing for the future

  • Digitally twin endangered cultural and ecological sites

  • Support youth in capturing oral histories, music, and material culture

  • Reconnect ecological memory through archival and augmented storytelling

  • Collaborate with indigenous artisans, historians, and architects

Phase 3: Capacity Building & Local Stewardship

Cultivating communities as change-makers

  • Offer fellowships and training across energy, ecology, health, and circular design

  • Strengthen local governance and community leadership

  • Co-create curricula with schools, universities, and informal hubs

  • Facilitate learning exchanges across borders and cultures

Phase 4: Infrastructure Prototyping & System Pilots

Turning insight into action through real-world testing

  • Build modular pilots for microgrids, circular water systems, and biobased housing

  • Test governance models rooted in reciprocity and co-ownership

  • Apply safe-to-fail approaches to reduce risk and maximize learning

Phase 5: Policy, Partnership & Replication

Spreading what works—without losing local wisdom

  • Translate insights into adaptable toolkits for policymakers and practitioners

  • Share open-source methods for mapping, stewardship, and circular innovation

  • Cultivate cross-border networks for regenerative diplomacy and collaboration

This is not a blueprint—it’s a living framework, designed to evolve with place and people.

🌍 Where THIS Leads

This isn’t about fixing isolated problems—it’s about growing new patterns where life can thrive.

Each safe-to-fail experiment contributes to a broader shift:
From extraction to regeneration.
From fragmentation to trust.
From crisis response to evolving capacity.

From mountains to wetlands, deserts to deltas, and border cities in between—WE are growing a living, learning network of people, places, and projects aligned with life.

This is a living portfolio, built to adapt and grow.
WE welcome feedback, funding, and field partners to help refine, replicate, and reimagine what’s possible.
